Milling Technology

High-Performance Knife Mills for Versatile Applications - DEFINER
Franklin Miller manufactures a wide variety of knife mills to meet almost any application. From lab sized to full production, Franklin Miller knife mills are used worldwide for high precision and low impact milling. Our knife mills are used for a wide variety of products including hemp, rubber, plastic, cannabis, and much more.
The DEFINER DF and DEFINER KM employ high shear knives that accurately cut solids to the desired output size with a shear action, without overgrind or excessive fines. The DEFINER can handle such materials as HDPE, (High Density Polyethylene), PP (polypropylene) PET (polyethylene terephthalate), hemp, herbs and more. The DEFINER delivers more consistent output while maintaining the product integrity.

Advanced Roll Mills for Efficient Size Reduction - SUPREME
The Supreme Roll Mills provide dependable size reduction of a wide variety of solids with an efficient onc- through milling action. These units can attain results that can't be achieved with any other size reduction technique. They produce an output in an extremely narrow size range and do so without degrading the valuable qualities of the feed stock.
Highly efficient in operation, Supreme Roll Mills produce very low noise or heat rise. Unlike other systems, there are no screens to plug and no requirements for recirculation or clarifiers. The product is milled to controlled mesh sizes from 13 to 150 mesh, typically without high impact, high stress, or high speed rotation.
