The TASKMASTER TM2800TS Shredder provides high performance tire shredding and a high level of reliability. This unit employs the same "low speed, high-torque" twin shaft mechanism used in heavy construction and demolition debris and municipal solid waste, but is designed specifically for use by tire dealers and other scrap generators looking for an economical solution for tire disposal. The TM2800TS can shred, on average with one operator, 100 to 140 automobile and light truck tires per hour. It can handle tires with an outside diameter of up to 42 inches. It shreds whole tires with bead wire into randomized pieces averaging approximately 2 " x 6" long. The TM2800TS is built for long life, reliability and low wear. With this unit, it is possible to shred in excess of 100,000 tires with minimal wear. All cutters and shafts are hardened for long life and high strength. |
