The Spiralift® SLX system provides fine screening for heavy prison and institutional wastewater applications. This powerful system effectively handles concentrated solids including clothing, sneakers, sheets, blankets, wood and other debris that clog and cause backups in units not built for heavy institutional effluent service.
Spiralift® SLX screens, washes, conveys, and compacts wastewater solids in one integrated, easy to install system. The unit features a heavy TASKMASTER® TM1630 shredder with a 15 HP motor and drive coupled with an oversized auger style channel screen.
In operation, the TASKMASTER with cutter cartridge technology finely shreds all the heavy solids in the flow. The shredded particles are captured on a fine screen and intensively washed. As the solids are conveyed up the transport, free water drains back into the channel. The solids are discharged into a bin or conveyor.
The Spiralift SLX is provided with shredder, screen, solenoid valve, spray wash manifold, level sensor and PLC-based control system in a NEMA 4x enclosure.
