TASKMASTER^® SHREDDERS FOR ELECTRONIC DATA SECURITY CONCERNS

Franklin Miller has launched a new breed of TASKMASTER shredders that are optimized to completely shred hard drives, storage media, backup tapes and electronic components of all kinds. As part of the multi-step recycling process, these powerful units play a critical role in the safe destruction and disposal of electronic scrap.

The TASKMASTER reduces tough solids with an extremely versatile, high torque shredding mechanism. Powerful banks of cutters mounted on twin shafts intermesh at close clearance and low rotational speed to completely chop and shear high volumes of material into fine particles. A sophisticated controller integrates all the shredding cycles and monitors the system’s operations.

The TASKMASTER’s heavy construction is designed to ensure minimal maintenance while the unique, split-body design facilitates complete cutter-stack removal without dismantling the unit. Shredders are available in a variety of sizes, motors and drives. Shredder systems can also be custom designed to specifically meet throughput, sizing, separation and recovery requirements including infeed and discharge conveyors, system controls and more. An in- house test facility is available to demonstrate actual performance and results on customer material.
