The TASKMASTER DUPLEX (TM8500D) channel grinder
provides more of what is great about the TM8500. This
unit features twice the cutting area and flow capability of
a single TM8500 without adding any additional power
requirement. That's because the TM8500D uses one
common drive and motor to power all four cutting stacks.

Like the single TM8500, the TASKMASTER Duplex
employs Cutter Cartridge Technology which reduces
individual cutter parts and increases unit strength. Best
of all, with cutter cartridge technology the need for
periodic stack re-tightening is eliminated altogether -
making maintenance far simpler.

Typical units use a 3 HP - 5 HP (2.2-4.0 kw) motor with a
heavy duty gear drive for low speed, high torque operation.
The TM8500D Series is built in a variety of sizes. Units
are available as single, duplex and triplex designs for a
wide range of flow and application requirements.

The Taskmaster TM8500D is available for submersible
applications using our exclusive
submersible electric motor, hydraulic drive, or shaft
extension. They are provided in stainless steel
construction in addition to standard ductile iron and alloy.
